Errigal bay seafood wanted to develop new packaging design and update their website. With the company targeting both a b2b market and b2c it was important to have clean and clear messaging that would appeal to both cohorts of customers. Being a seafood company it was important for the freshness of the product to come through both on the site and packaging.
With all packaging design the ability to grab the consumers attention when in the supermarket is paramount. The product being fresh from the sea inspired clean and crisp design thought. We wanted a consistent theme to flow through both the website and packaging. The company itself has great story spanning over several decades, a story that we felt needed to be told.
The idea that came through the great history of the company and the Errigal Bay area. We wanted to tell the stories of the fishermen and pay tribute to the product and area it’s from. The packaging design we developed a clean and contemporary which set the tone of voice for the site too. Having the site to be easy to navigate is key for both the company’s targets b2c and b2b customers. Utilising the great imagery from the company’s archive pays great tribute to their history and the people and area that make it.
